An inspiring gathering of design, collaboration, and creative connections at the IKONS Furniture showroom in IDD PIK 2.
On September 23, 2026, IKONS Furniture hosted Summer Soirée 2026, a special gathering celebrating the official launch of the Staple 2.0 furniture collection. Held at the IKONS showroom in Indonesia Design District (IDD), PIK 2, as part of Indonesia Design Week 2026, the event brought together interior designers and creative professionals for a celebration of furniture design and collaboration.
Developed in partnership with ARPOSE Design Studio and Tiffani Performance Fabrics, Staple 2.0 took center stage, introducing a new chapter in contemporary hospitality furniture.
Beyond the collection launch, Summer Soirée provided an opportunity for the design community to connect, exchange ideas, and explore the creative thinking behind the latest IKONS collection.

The Launch of Staple 2.0: A New Chapter in Hospitality Furniture
The highlight of IKONS Summer Soirée 2026 was the official introduction of Staple 2.0, an evolution of the original Staple Collection.
Inspired by mid-century design, Staple 2.0 combines natural wood, geometric lines, and a timeless aesthetic with a focus on versatility. Its design language brings a recognizable character to furniture intended for hospitality and commercial spaces.
The collection introduces three seating variations: a dining chair, a lounger, and a stool. Each piece carries the collection’s distinctive character while addressing different seating needs, from restaurant dining areas to lounges and bar settings.
Created through the combined expertise of IKONS Furniture, ARPOSE Design Studio, and Tiffani Performance Fabrics, the collection reflects how thoughtful collaboration can bring together design, craftsmanship, and material innovation.

Behind the Design: Collaboration with ARPOSE and Tiffani
A key part of the Summer Soirée experience was introducing the creative process behind Staple 2.0.
Through a design presentation by ARPOSE Design Studio, guests gained insight into the ideas and design considerations that shaped the collection, from its visual identity to its practical applications.
The collaboration brought together complementary perspectives. IKONS Furniture contributed its knowledge of furniture production and commercial applications, ARPOSE introduced its design expertise, and Tiffani Performance Fabrics contributed its understanding of upholstery materials.

Together, these elements shaped a collection designed to balance aesthetics with everyday functionality.
For interior designers working on hospitality and commercial projects, the launch offered an opportunity to consider how furniture details, material choices, and design consistency contribute to the overall experience of a space.
Bringing the Interior Design Community Together at IDD PIK 2
While Staple 2.0 was the centerpiece of the event, Summer Soirée was also about the people behind great spaces.
The IKONS showroom at Indonesia Design District PIK 2 became a meeting point for interior designers and creative professionals to discover the collection, share perspectives, and build connections within the industry.

Conversations around furniture, materials, and creative possibilities added another dimension to the gathering, turning the launch into an opportunity for meaningful exchange.
Events like Summer Soirée reflect the importance of building a connected design community, where new ideas can emerge through conversations between brands and the professionals who bring spaces to life.
A Celebration Made Possible Through Partnership
The event highlighted the value of collaboration, both in the development of the collection and in bringing the design community together.
Alongside main collaboration partners ARPOSE Design Studio and Tiffani Performance Fabrics, Summer Soirée was supported by Hospitality Equip Group (HEG), Granary, Quadra Surface, and Bali Hai.
Their participation contributed to a gathering that celebrated creativity, shared expertise, and the relationships that continue to shape the design industry.

Continuing the Conversation Beyond Summer Soirée
As part of Indonesia Design Week 2026, Summer Soirée marked an important moment for IKONS Furniture: the introduction of Staple 2.0 and the opportunity to share its story directly with the interior design community.
More than unveiling a new collection, the event reflected IKONS Furniture’s ongoing commitment to thoughtful furniture design, collaboration, and meaningful connections within the hospitality and commercial design industries.
With Staple 2.0, IKONS continues to explore how furniture can bring character, versatility, and purpose to the spaces people experience every day.
